With the air conditioning season upon us. Wanted to go over a few tips on how to maintain your air conditioning system.

*Change your FILTERS…..this is not only vital to your energy bills but a dirty filter can shorten the life of your system. By restricting your air flow this cause not enough air to cross the evaporator coil and can cause system to freeze. This causes the compressor to overheat.
*Keep your outdoor condenser coil free of dirt, lint and weeds. This coil needs to breathe in order to get rid of the heat. If this is restricted it will cause system to overheat and pressures to sky rocket.
*Pour bleach into the spout provided for condensation pvc line. This will help prevent the drain line from clogging.
